Best coffee house in the Heidelberg area. Very good food, very good quality, highly recommended

Unfortunately it has decreased very, very extremely. Prices are not exactly cheap but ok, but then I expect real rolls and not miniature rolls for breakfast for 15 € for which even a slice of sausage is too big. In addition, the last visit received very dirty cutlery and a glass covered with crust stuck to the edge. When a new glass or juice was asked, it took a little until the new one came, but it was just as dirty on the edge if not even dirtier. The served over the edge and the served was black and sticky. For a restaurant (to deliver such glasses two times in a row, even in times of Corona), that was very disgusting and definitely the last visit for me.

Even one star is too much! Very unfriendly and absolutely impossible staff, you get the impression that only the location is special. Not to be recommended at all.

An interesting facility - we sat in the back of the replica train compartment - and a very extensive menu. We can recommend the red lentil soup, the pumpkin soup, the Friesian pan and the onion cake from our own experience. What bothered us a little was the forgetfulness and a little too little attention of our waitress. Other than that, a satisfying culinary experience.

At the entrance to the beer garden there is a notice that you will be taken to the seats. After 10 minutes stand ... nothing. A friendly lady pointed out that she stood forever and then simply sat down. So we do that too. Then wait forever for the waitress to place your order. After 20 minutes, the waitress told us what we had ordered would not be given. You pointed to the map. One drink out of three came then. Another 10 to 15 minutes later the next two. And that wasn't just the case at our table. What a shame.

The food is good, the prices are normal for the Schlossplatz. Even with the drinks, everyone has been thought of. The service was very attentive at first, but unfortunately not anymore. Actually we wanted to have a drink, but then decided to go and had to try the bartender twice to find our waitress ... I had made a reservation, but we didn't have to fill out a guest sheet. This is probably settled with the reservation. It also made me a little sad that the coffee house was almost empty on the weekend. In spite of everything: COFFEE HOUSE IS CULT!

4.80 € for a Coke is extremely cheap and quite an appropriate, fair price ... NOT !!! Sure, you pay for the ambience and location, but their prices are beyond outrageous rip-offs.

Good drinks and food. Lots of open-air space. The kitchen is sometimes a little overwhelmed when the coffee house is overcrowded. But you can bridge the waiting time for the meal with a few drinks and watch the other guests.

Great breakfast selection, very good quality of the ingredients! Staff super friendly. Definitely visit. Always my pleasure!!

Amazing drinks, great service, it was a pleasure.

Breakfast delicious, we were unlucky enough to sit inside. So we wanted to sit inside because it was empty and cool. Here we were unfortunately overlooked and only served after 40 minutes after repeated requests.

Nice service. However, the hygiene concept is not implemented. Guests walk to and from the tables without a mask. The staff shows no ambition to point this out to the guests. It's a shame that Corona is not taken seriously here.

Always nice to go to the coffee house when visiting my homeland. Service top, friendly and fast. Modern system with barcode and pure relaxation in the best weather, just like on vacation.

So the atmosphere was very nice .. But we had waited for ages for the waitress who was apparently only interested in young nice men, and after that she also preferred so we had waited 20 minutes for an order and then 30 minutes before the drinks came then over 1 hour on our breakfast, whereas other guests who came later were more likely to get their food. If you ask me, I find that an absolute cheek especially on a warm Sunday where you have something else in mind. Not recommendable ...

Unfortunately, very unfriendly service, cocktails with hardly any alcohol, had to be improved. Were served very unfriendly ... Service really leaves something to be desired, when she didn't get a tip, she just slammed the change onto the tables! Then offset by 10 € when giving out, too bad!

I only enjoyed a drink there to give a qualitative assessment. But since I was sitting there with my wife in sunny weather, I found the country good. But I want to use my feeling in connection with my love to rate the café ...

0 stars unfortunately not possible. 20min until you were served, 30min until the drinks came and the food ordered at the same time only came after another 30 minutes. Too bad what has become of the coffee house. At the tables there was only fun among newcomers with the slogan "I hope you brought your time". Unfortunately totally true ...

My wife ordered a salad, which was nothing like the one described in the menu, so naturally we gave it back - without eating it. When we asked for the check they made us pay for it as the waitress said “oh I just thought you didn't like it, I had no idea you didn’t want to pay for it” and her supervisor told us since the check has already been printed we’d have to pay for it. When we asked for the ingredients beforehand the waitress was also not able to tell us anything about what the salad was made of. Most ridiculous experience EVER by far!

Terrible organisation offensive and arrogant!

Food and beer was great. Waitstaff knew excellent English, so was fun to talk to. Prices were very reasonable.

Fantastic service, nice location, great food, not cheap but fair price.

Very beautiful! fun evenings! You drink well! So many people for all tastes! We often go there when it's evening and we always have a lot of fun! The terrace is very large and really hosts lots of people! I enjoy it all very nice!

We waited 25 minutes for coffee and cake, I wanted to eat something but they told me it'll take one hour o.O my coffee was one of the worst I ever had, a friend got his cold, my wife got the wrong cake...make your own conclusions. Must say it was 1st of May.

It’s actually one of my favorite places in this town. Unfortunately my dish (Kalbsschnitzel mit Honig Mandel Sauce) was very dry and without flavor. Used this be much better. Service took for hours and the smell coming out of the sewer got me an headache. Too bad :(

Very nice restaurant in Schwetzingen. It offers different choices of menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee.

First stop to eat in Schwetzingen and it is a great big place with excellent food and drink. Staff are very helpful. I don't speak any German but there are menus in English.

Nice location

Very busy in sunny days. It took them about 1 hour to serve the breakfast.
